The storms have passed and we are looking ahead to a beautiful Central Texas Easter weekend!
Here is our schedule of weekend events:
The Coryell County Child Welfare Board welcomes all to to Faunt Le Roy Park on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 for a rock painting party for Child Abuse Prevention Month. They'll provide the rocks and the paint. Coryell EMS will be on hand to grill hotdogs, too!
Showing this weekend at The Last Drive In & Cinema:
Ed Leonard returns to his regular Thursday gig at The Junction on 36 after a week off. There is likely to be a crowd, so get there early!
If you miss Ed on Thursday, you have another chance to catch him on Friday at the American Legion from 7-10pm.
The Gatesville Country Music Hall of Fame Show takes place at Gatesville City Auditorium at 7pm Friday night. Guest performers this month are Chords of Grace. Admission is free.

Don't let the weekend weather forecast keep you at home. There is way too much fun to be had in Gatesville this weekend!
You may get the feeling that you've gone back in time as you drive through town this weekend, as Gatesville plays host to a group of Studebaker collectors. They’ll be having lunch at (where else?) Studebaker’s Pizza on Friday, touring Kalyn, then caravanning back through town and will be at the Civic Center from around 2:30-4:00, for those who want to get a look at the cars. They also plan tour the Museum Saturday afternoon and attend a showing at The Last Drive In Picture Show Saturday night.

The Bar Somewhere Else will hold Karaoke nightwith Ray Veach Friday, 8pm-midnight.
Visit Chamber Market Days to shop with a variety of vendors at the Cotton Belt Depot from 9am-1pm.

If the warmer weather has you wishing for some weekend fun & inspiration, you can start off early by stopping by the Intermediate School for their GT Expo this evening. The community is invited to see what these young people have been up to. Let's show our GISD students and teachers that the community supports & encourages them!
After the GT Expo, head out to The Junction on 36 for dinner and music by Ed Leonard. There is no cover charge and it is a family-friendly event. Ed plays from 6:30-9:30 and you are sure to run into friends there (or make some new ones).
Enjoy live theater at the Gatesville High School One Act Play performance of "Any Body for Tea?" at 7pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. A dessert silent auction will be held before the performance. Admission is $3.
