School is back in session and everyone is getting back on schedule but that doesn't mean there isn't time for some weekend fun! Here is a list of what is happening around Gatesville this weekend.
Join Ed Leonard at The Junction on 36 for food, drinks, fun and some good old country music. He will play from 6:30-9:30. No cover charge and all ages are welcome.
If you are used to hearing Taylor Branch at The Bar Somewhere Else on Thirsty Thursday, be aware that he is changing up the schedule a little and will be playing a free acoustic show there on Wednesday nights.
Starting tonight at the Drive In and Cinema:
If you are shopping for bargains on school clothes or just about anything else, you'll want to stop by Trinity Baptist Church for their annual big garage sale! It starts at 7am on Friday and Saturday.
Holly Jo Samsill will be performing at Bare Bone BBQ Friday Night.
It is also Karaoke Night at The Bar Somewhere Else.
Join up with other runners (and walkers) at Faunt Le Roy Park at 8am each Saturday as they Wear

No registration required, no cost to participate. Just show up!
Need a furry friend? On Saturday, starting at 10am, you can view animals available for adoption through Coryell County Pet Rescue. They'll be indoors at Tractor Supply.
As you go through your weekend and the coming week, we want to remind you that we have many wonderful businesses and restaurants here in Gatesville. Before you drive out of town to shop or dine, consider keeping your dollars here to strengthen our economy. Have a great weekend!
