There is never a shortage of activities in the Fall, and it is officially Fall in Gatesville!  Enjoy the (slightly) cooler temperatures by getting out this weekend for some of these activities!

Is is early dismissal for Gatesville students today so watch for buses and pedestrians starting at 12:45.

If you are looking for something for the kids to do with the free afternoon, why not visit the Gatesville Public Library? While you are downtown, take in the exhibits at the Coryell Museum (open until 4pm). Museum admission is free, but donations are welcome. Enjoy the nice weather with a stop at Raby or Faunt Le Roy Park.  There are matinee showings of Small Foot at the Cinema at 2pm & 4pm. Our city offers plenty for families to do!

Did you know that you can stop by Graves Florist at 8th & Main between 4-5pm on Fridays and pick up a bouquet of fresh flowers for half price?  Our favorite kind of Happy Hour!

Will you give a few hours of your time to make Gatesville a better place to live?

Can't make it to Fall Sweep, but still want to do your part? Order some pansies for your yard or in front of your business! Proceeds benefit the programs of Keep Gatesville Beautiful. Orders will be accepted at the Civic Center during Fall Sweep, at the Tailgate Party on October 5th and at Junk & Disorderly on October 6th,  or you can drop by City Hall next week to place your order.
