Christmas is quickly approaching! Here is a list of local activities to help you and your family get in the Christmas spirit.

The Last Drive In Picture Show and Cinema offers some family-
friendly and holiday shows this weekend.
Local favorite Ed Leonard will perform Thursday evening 6:30-9:30 at The Junction on 36. All ages are welcome and there is no cover charge. Come out for dinner or just drinks and enjoy the music.
We also want to say a big thank you to Ed giving his time and talent to entertain groups of soldiers this week at the annual Gatesville/North Fort Hood Christmas parties. He played for three parties throughout the day and evening and helped give these men and women a wonderful send-off as they deploy overseas right before the holidays. One of the highlights of the day was when he allowed a fellow musician from Mississippi to join him on the microphone for a little while. Thanks Ed!
On Saturday, First United Methodist Church is holding a Christmas Stop & Shop. Christmas from 7am-4pm. It is an indoor/outdoor event. Food trucks will be there 12-4pm and Santa will be there 2-4pm. Check their event page on Facebook for more details, a list of vendors, and some photos of items that will be available! Christmas Stop & Shop page
