If you are staying in town this holiday weekend, you may be looking for things for the family to do together, especially if you have visitors here. Here are a few suggestions:
Tonight (Thursday) stop by the former Flentge/Ace Hardware parking lot on Main Street between 5:30 & 8:00 to see Santa on the firetruck, courtesy of our wonderful Gatesville Volunteer Fire Department!
Lights on the Leon is Gatesville’s display of lighted and animated holiday scenes. You’ll
find them downtown, around the courthouse and along Leon Street and on 10th between Leon and Main. Thanks to the generous sponsorships of our businesses, the City of Gatesville offers this tour of lights at no charge. And don’t forget to look for Leon the Elf! The Lights on the Leon Facebook page provides more information.
