Down the road, in Oglesby, the 50th annual Rattlesnake Roundup is going on this weekend! The event kicks off at 7:00 a.m. on both days with snake hunt registrations and breakfast benefiting the Oglesby 4H Club. Snake pit opens 10a Sat. & Noon Sun. $5 per person; free if 5 years old or under. Snake wranglers will perform every other hour, food, carnival rides, live music, and vendors.
