A GREEN Weekend in Gatesville

Spring Break, Spring Weather, St Patricks Day, Clean-up Day... it is looking like a green weekend around here!

 

THURSDAY, MARCH 14

 

 

Get creative and get ready for Easter with this cute Bunny Bag that you can paint on a canvas bag. The class is tonight (Thursday) evening with Deb at The Feed Mill starting at 6pm.  We promise, she makes it fun & easy!

FRIDAY, MARCH 15

 

Bare Bones Barbeque has been bringing great entertainment to Gatesville. This Friday night, they offer something new with a comedy show. After all, laughter is good for you!

 

 

The monthly Gatesville Country Music Hall of Fame Show takes place Friday night at 7pm at City Auditorium. Visitors will enjoy guest artists this month, The Baggy Bottom Boys. The are a Country Gospel group with a Texas Swing sound. Get a sample of their music on our video below. 

Admission to the show is free.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 While you are downtown for the show, you'll want to grab a bite to eat.  The Knife & Cork is offering St Patricks day specials all weekend.  Try one of their specials with an Irish twist, or just pick something from the regular menu, but be sure to ask for this week's drink special, the Lucky Rabbit Foot!

 

The Feed Mill is another great pre or post show option, with great steaks, fish, burgers, and always a lunch and dinner special to choose from.  You'll love the homey atmosphere and friendly service. 

 

 

 

 

If you prefer to make your own music, Friday is Karaoke Night with Ray Veach at The Bar Somewhere Else. Music starts at 8pm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

SATURDAY, MARCH 15

 Saturday is the day to clean up your place and take your items for proper disposal at Gatesville's Household Hazardous Waste Collection. While you are out, look for Keep Gatesville Beautiful's volunteers who will be doing their part to clean up areas like our parks and downtown.  Interested in joining them?
