Visit the Coryell County Museum
We recently asked our locals to tell us what they would tell a visitor to see and do while in Gatesville. One of the top responses was the Coryell Museum. They museum has been closed for several months due to Coronavirus, but they reopened on September 18, so we dropped in for a visit and wanted to share some photos and video.
Here are a few photos of the displays that you will find as you explore the museum.
The museum is located at the corner of 8th and Main, one block east of the Coryell County Courthouse. They are currently open Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm. They plan to expand those days soon, so check their website at www.coryellmuseum.org or call (254) 865-5007. Admission is free, donations are appreciated.
